ROYAL ELTHAM GANG SHOW

Royal Eltham Gang Show (REGS) is an activity of the Royal Eltham District Scout Council.

The show has been staged for over thirty years during which time it has formed links with the British Music Hall Society and with the Entertainment Artistes Benevolent Fund.

The cast have performed in Charity Shows with Roy Hudd, Gary Wilmott, Bert Weedon, June Whitfield, Mike Yarwood and a host of other stars and twice at the Royal Albert Hall under the eyes of HRH The Princess Royal for Save the Children. They have also worked on two Royal Commands at the World Famous London Palladium (behind the scenes!) An ex-member of the Royal Eltham cast is Clive Jackson, the Doctor of the group Dr and the Medics who made it to number one with 'Spirit in the Sky'.

The Gang received the coveted 'GS' emblem in 1982 and would have been one of the last personally authorised by Ralph Reader - 'Mr Gang Show'.
